Felix Mendelssohn Organ Works
Following the approach adopted for J. S. Bach, Buxtehude and other major composers for the organ, OrganScore presents the complete organ works of F. Mendelssohn in two volumes.
Volume I includes the celebrated Preludes and Fugues (Op. 37) and Sonatas (Op. 65).
Volume II brings together a number of miscellaneous pieces, most of which date from the composer’s early years. Although technically less demanding than those in Volume I, the works in Volume II are of considerable musical interest.
